DIY Electrolyte Protein Ice Cubes for smoothies

Protein Ice Cubes  

Ingredients (Makes 12 ice cubes)  

- 1 cup coconut water (natural source of electrolytes)  

- 1 scoop unflavored or vanilla protein powder (whey or plant-based)  

- 1 tbsp lemon juice (for flavor and vitamin C)  

- 1/2 tsp sea salt (for added electrolytes)  

- Optional Add-Ins:  

  - 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (for sweetness)  

  - 1/4 tsp magnesium powder (for extra electrolytes)  


Instructions  

1. Mix the Ingredients:  

   - In a blender or shaker bottle, combine coconut water, protein powder, lemon juice, sea salt, and optional add-ins. Blend or shake until smooth.  


2. Pour into Ice Cube Trays:  

   - Pour the mixture into ice cube trays, filling each compartment about 3/4 full.  


3. Freeze:
